Highlights from the 1st Semester Students' Inspiring Physics Meet 2024

 Are you tired of the same old lectures and formulas dominating your physics journey? Yesterday’s meet by the 1st-semester students was a refreshing break from routine—a lively celebration of curiosity, creativity, and the sheer joy of exploring the mysteries of the Physics 


The event began with Somiddhya Banerjee, who spoke about biophysics. Somiddhya explained how biophysics connects biology and physics, making it a very important field of study. He also talked about the process of diffusion, showing how physics helps us understand biological activities.



Next was MD Selim, who gave an amazing presentation on Newton's Laws of Motion. He explained how these laws work in our daily lives and even gave a detailed explanation of projectile motion. His examples were simple, clear, and easy to understand.



The third speaker, Roni Das, talked about thermodynamics. He explained all the laws of thermodynamics in a way that was easy to follow. The best part of his talk was about the Carnot cycle and how it is used to build Carnot engines, showing how science can be applied in real life.



Lastly, Sunanda Biswas presented on vibrations and oscillations. He used a simple harmonic oscillator  to explain the topic and made it very interesting. His examples were simple and helped everyone understand the concept better.




At the end of the event, MD Selim won the first prize for his excellent presentation. It was a wonderful evening where everyone learned something new and enjoyed being part of such an inspiring gathering!
